What JotMind is for
Researching commercial, industrial and multifamily properties, and contacting their owners, managers and facilities decision-makers, in your company’s own name, about roofing, building-envelope and related services your company offers. Organizing, routing and following up on that work.
Never use JotMind to
- Make or support any decision about a person’s eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing, tenancy, a government license or benefit, or any other purpose regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act or California consumer-reporting laws. JotMind is not a consumer reporting agency and provides no consumer reports.
- Locate, track, monitor, stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate or dox anyone, or visit or contact anyone at a home for a purpose unrelated to legitimate commercial roofing work.
- Sell, rent, license, publish or share lists of people, phone numbers or emails outside your company, or feed them to a lead broker, list service or marketing platform not working solely for your company under equivalent rules.
- Contact anyone a JotMind flag, the National Do Not Call Registry, a state list, or your own records marks as do-not-contact, or keep contacting anyone who asks you to stop.
- Use autodialers, prerecorded or artificial voices, or automated texts to reach a mobile number without the prior express consent the law requires.
- Send commercial email without accurate headers and subject lines, a valid postal address, and a working opt-out honored promptly.
- Make debt-collection, political, charitable, survey, or residential consumer-marketing contacts.
- Profile, sort or target people by race, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, disability, immigration status, age, or any other protected characteristic.
- Misrepresent who you are, who you work for, a roof’s condition, urgency, or any affiliation, or impersonate JotMind, a building owner, or a public agency.
- Bring data into JotMind that you have no right to use, or use a data provider through JotMind in a way that breaks that provider’s terms.
- Share logins, exceed your seats, scrape, reverse engineer, probe, overload or attack the Services, or try to reach another customer’s workspace.
- Break any law or help anyone else do so.
AI-generated information
Treat AI output as a draft. Do not present AI-generated information about a person or building to anyone as verified fact. Check names, roles and contact details before outreach, and correct or delete information you learn is wrong.
Requests from people
If anyone asks you to stop contacting them, or to delete or correct information about them, honor it promptly: mark them do-not-contact in your workspace and in your own records, and edit or delete the information.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations, ask for information to confirm compliance, and suspend or remove users, functions or workspaces that we reasonably believe violate this policy, with notice where reasonable. Serious or repeated violations end access. Violations may also breach your company’s agreement and trigger its indemnity obligations.
